Basement Leak and Salvaging - Runnemede

Basement Leak - Runnemede, NJ needed some fast help from SERVPRO. Upon arrival, this finished basement, did look "finished." We immediately blocked the furniture to protect the water from wicking into the wooden legs and the fabrics. This helps to also prevent any bleeding that could ruin the carpet along with the upholstery. Then we quickly extracted the water from the soaked fibers with a weighted unit and a special wand/portable vacuum. Notice that we removed the baseboards to ensure that any hidden water or moisture could also be vanquished with our heated air movers and dehumidifiers.
